How to use

Apply to damp or dry hair depending on desired effect. For maximum volume, focus application at the roots; for defined texture, concentrate on the ends; or apply throughout for overall body. To create piece-y definition, flip hair to one side and work product into roots and underside, then flip back and twist small sections at the ends. Can be layered for increased texture and hold.

    Best for my fine hair

    I love this product. My hair is fine with some wave. I hate "volume"--big hair is not my thing--but piecy, wavy texture is great. It brings out the natural wave and attracts compliments.

    great product - terrible bottle

    I have short hair with no body and the Freestyle Texturizer is perfect for giving my hair some body. I have been using this product for several years and really like how it works. However, the dispensing of the product is awful. It comes in a glass bottle with a pump. The pump works for about the first 1/3-1/2 of the bottle and then stops working. I have tried cleaning the pump but this does not help. I end up using a cosmetic spatula to get the remaining product out of the bottle. This has happened with every bottle. Wondering if the folks who developed this product and put it in a glass bottle ever tried using the entire bottle. A tube would be much more user friendly although not as environmentally friendly but sometimes the trade off if worth it.

    Best product for fine hair

    I have fine wavy graying hair with a chin length bob cut, and the freestyle texturizer is amazing. When I use it on dry hair, it gives me so much volume, texture, and shine. I have tried it on damp hair as well, but I really love the effect when used on dry hair the most. This is the easiest and most effective styler I have ever found for my fine soft wavy hair. I don't have to use a ton of product, and it never makes my hair feel stiff or sticky, especially the next morning. Please never change or discontinue this texturizer!!
